The 9 Note Handpan in G scale is hand crafted and uses all the notes of the scale giving it a traditional sound and feel. The two octave range of 9 notes and is abundant for extensive harmonic and melodic inventions. Standard Handpans typically have a smaller diameter, however, this hand pan has a slightly larger diameter of 50cm which means the notes are not only more horizontal, but also more spread out. This allows for a deeper bass note sound. The 9 Note Handpan in G plays beautifully and has some beautiful resonant sounds. The smooth coating makes it very comfortable to play and feel while it weighs only 7kg, making it very easy to carry. This Handpan comes with its own shoulder carry case and a protective cover. All 9 notes of the Handpan have a lovely resonance but it is also possible for players to use the other surfaces of the drum and make some other harmonics, such as snare and hi-hat like sounds. The head cover can also be used to make percussive sounds. All in all, the Handpan is a beautiful instrument capable of enchanting all players and listeners.
